Q:
Who is your greatest sporting hero?
A: I'm a big fan of Steffi Graf, although I wouldn't say
she was a hero. When I was younger, my hero was Franz Klammer,
the Austrian skiier.
Q:
What other sports do you do?
A: I play ice-hockey during the winter. It's a great
game and it keeps you fit. I also do a lot of skiing. I love
stepping out of my house in Austria and skiing all day.
Q:
How do you relax?
A: When I can, I take my wife and children on my boat,
cruise around until I find a deserted bay, then drop anchor.
Q:
What's your most embarrassing moment?
My life has been full of moments - it's only later that
they become embarrassing.
Q:
Do you have any pets?
A: No, because I don't have time to look after them.
Q:
Is there anything you hate about F1?
A: The pressure. Each time I get in the car I know that
if I'm not successful, I'll be history!
Q:
What was your greatest moment in F1?
A: Winning the Italian GP at Monza in 1988, in a
Ferrari, just three weeks after Enzo Ferrari's death. It will be
hard to match the emotion of that day.
Q:
What is your one great luxury?
A: My car. I could not imagine getting through life
without one.
