whew man the hotline trains bring back very special memories of Christmas' back in 1970-71.I remember the box art oh so well and for years have been trying to get a set with the box intact and finally I won one of the smaller sets from E-Bay for 50 dollar and was thrilled to say the least--dont know if it works yet but that does not matter ! Now, I once again have reclaimed one of my favorite toys from my early childhood.Glad you have this site up and running and have another prized edition to add to my t y collection.Now, if i could just get a complete 1971 large sizzlers set complete.--thanks--Tim

Hi Joe! You have a great Sizzlers web page. I've been collecting and racing Sizzlers cars and related for about 5 years. I have hundreds of Sizzlers items in my collection including some super rare ones. Some items include: The 2 Italian made Sizzlers ca still sealed in the package. A blue Fire Works Fat Daddy car still sealed in a Japanese box. A Long Count, Corvette 4 Rotor, and a Lamborghini Countach all sealed in Japanese boxes. I also have 3 Fat Daddy Sizzlers mint in the package; A light purple Nee le Nose, A blue Law Mill, and a yellow-gold Ram Rocket. I also have Cuda T/A Sizzlers in 6 differant colors close to mint condition "In the cubes". I have 6 differant German packaged Sizzlers cars, and 1 pink "Ford Mark 4" Sizzlers car in a box that was r leased in England. One of the rarest items I have found is a Sizzlers wrist watch dated "1973" on the face. This watch looks and runs great! I have a bunch more rare items, as well as many commond Sizzlers items in my collection. I need help ! I have my original sizzlers in vg condition but the batteries are corroding inside.Is there a way to get them out w/out ruining the seal? Also, where do I get these restored ? Please respond Rick

I used to have a bunch of cars, the train set and motorcycles. The switches always seemed to go bad along with the batteries. Did mattel rerelease som eof the old sizzlers with new ones?

Alot of memories...I had alot of these cars and motorcycles, even the bulldozer. All gone now, no doubt worth a fair bit...even had the largest fat track set with all the accesories, remember selling it for next to nothing as I got older...crap.
