Engine Work
Cameano's new engine is still in the works. Originally, a 500+ hp 383 smallblock was in the works, complete with World Products Sportsman 200 heads, Isky RR602 roller cam (.602" lift/300° adv. dur./252°[email protected]" lift), TRW forged 2 valve relief flat tops, Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake, and a host of complimenting parts to screw it all together.
Cameano's new engine of choice happened along in late 1997 by way of a strong running but rotted out 1974 Chevy Suburban, with a 454. At first, it was supposed to be a mild engine built for torque. But somewhere in the rebuilding process, I ended up with Edelbrock Performer RPM oval port heads, intake, a BG SportsClaw 850 carb, Comp Cams solid lifter cam setup, roller rockers, etc.  That should be more than enough to have a bit of fun.
The shortblock.  Pistons are KB Hypereutectics.
