In Response To: Side Blinkers???? (PikE Peaks)
done. Remove your side markers. all you have to do is slide it to the side, and it will pop out. cut the brown wire(-). this is the ground. connect it to the blue wire of the front turn signal(make sure you leave a couple of inches on the plug so you can splice into it). Make sure you dont connect the wrong end of the brown wire, other wise you will blow a fuse. Use the wire that is still sonnected to the harness(the 2 inches I told you to leave)using a 6" or longer wire, run the brown wire from the bulb plug harness to the blue wire to on front turn signal(just tap into it, dont cut it, unless you are going to put it back, because you need it to still be connected to the front turn signal). By the way, you will not need to remove the front turn signal, just reach under and unplug it, and run it through the hole where the side marker is. once you make the connection, you can plug the front turnsignal back in. The entire procedure takes less that 20 min. and it is a piece of cake, and is fool proof. The only thing is like I said earlier, do not connect the piece of brown wire that goes in with the rest of the wire, just the short part that is still connected to the plug.( make sure you completely cut the brown wire, and shove the remaining wire back inside the fender, so you don't accidentaly connect it to the turn signal. Hope you don't think I'm insulting your intelligence by repeating myself, its just that I want to make sure I am thoroughly explaining myself. When its all done, your side marker and turn signal will flash together when the lights are off. When the lightsare on, it will flash back and fourth between the frond and side. good luck, its a really simple and a good safety upgrade.
