First reach under the front lip of the seat-bottom and pull up hard, on each side. It will just pop up, that's done, take it out of the car. There are two bolts holding the back of the seat in, they are on little metal "arms" at the bottom corners of the seat-back, and screw into the side of the car. I think they are 13mm, but if not, then they're 10mm, 'cause everything these cars is either 10, 13, or 17mm. Then you have to do an "up and out" lifting motion to pop the seat-back off its mounts. Easy enough, just be careful not to scratch anything like the side panels, back of the front seat, etc. with the metal "arms" as you take the seat out of the car. It sounds like dumb advice, but I've got an inch long scratch in the back of my passenger seat from carelessly trying to wiggle the seat-back out by myself. Just watch what you're doing and you'll be fine. |
