[Front Suspention/ Brake]
The Front Suspention
The original frontfork was a Paioli 41mm with a single disk. The fork itself wasn't bad, but the movement was a little stiff. For smoother damping and for more stopping power, I decided to change the whole system.
My DB2 now has a Yamaha 41mm frontfork used in such as the XJR400, and to make it adjustable, added an adjustable dial by OX racing. To match the wheels, billet collars were made. The fork matches the bike and works better than I thought!
The Brake
New brake rotors and hubs were ordered. The work was done by Plus , a shop specializing in one-off brake rotors. I chose slit type rotors instead of one's with holes, and the hubs look so cool! Undoubtly exellent craftmanship.
I also chose Brembo radial brake master cylinder to match the excellent brakes. The feel is purely direct, and uncomparable to ordinary brake lever systems. A must for sport riding. I think you'll notice the gorgeous billet brake support...
