Framework
The framework is one of the most exclusive parts of any Bimota motorcycle, including the DB2. The framework is a classic cromoly birdcage, each hand built by bimota engineers. The light weight construction not only saves weight, but keeps the bike thin and small as a whole. I think from the abouve pictures, you'll get to see how amazingly small the DB2 is without the fairing.
The framework didn't undergo any modifications, since I didn't feel the necessity. The only thing I'd like to change in the future is the color, which now with the dark gray finish, doesn't show enough presence.
Rear Suspention
The rear suspention is also left as the original. It's an Orliens fully adjustable shock and spring, with an indipendent oil tank. As you can see from the pictures above, it's actually off set from center to avoid the exhaust pipes! It performs fine, but almost time for an overhaul. For future mods, I'm intrested in try out titanium coatings.
