Tidbits The following is a growing list of interesting tidbits of information about the Turbo S. PCA Valuation Form: The PCA offers a valuation service for Porsches. This response from them is interesting in that their reported value of the 1988 944 Turbo S is considerably higher than either the "book" value (NADA) or the values reported in Excellence Magazine. Note: recently in Excellence, there has been an acknowledgement that the "S" models seem to carry premium prices, particularly within the enthusiast community. Teile Talk: This is a very interesting story from the Porsche parts department dealer newsletter. It was auctioned on E-Bay. I lost the bidding, but the seller generously offered to send me a photocopy. The article describes a person's trip to corporate HQ, when he got a chance to take one of these cars out on the Autobahn, where he toppled a Ferrari 512BBi. Contributed by Mark Smith. [PDF File] Showroom Brochure:
The Porsche dealer offered this showroom brochure describing the 1988 Silver
Rose Limited Edition Turbo S. This document is extremely difficult
to find, and if you do, expect to pay a lot for it. The above link is a
high-resolution scan of the "content" pages (416 KB). Also, here
is a scan of the front and back covers (not much content) 243 KB. Contributed
