Hi Eddie,
Here are the pictures I mentioned before. These two RC cars were built for a Nova Times article about 8 years ago. Wayne did print it, I still have the article here somewhere.
I painted the 67 model as a demonstration for the article, I had the 74 painted by Larry Lebon. The bodies were both initially mounted on an Advance Engineering custom street machine chassis, but since then I have moved the 67 to an Assosiated RC 10L chassis modified for pro street looks.
I still have both of them, but the 67 model is looking pretty bad, as I have crashed it too many times. The Associated chassis is very fast. The 74 still looks pretty much as it does in the pictures. I don't drive that one much because the Advance Engineering chassis handles poorly. Advance engineering is out of business for a long time now. Neither one of these bodyshells is available anymore, I wish I had bought more of each while they were still in production. These bodies were made by Parma.
There is another bodyshell that is available right now, Bolink's 1970 Nova SS. I have one of these sitting on a shelf, waiting to find the spare time to paint it. Maybe I should buy a few more...
