Parece uma foto montagem, mas n�o �!!! Esta Fusca macro-escultura "ritual�stica" existe mesmo na cidade inglesa de Stratford-upon-Avon, que � a cidade natal de Shakespeare. Veja o texto abaixo.

It seems to be a photo-composition, but it is not!!! This "ritualistic" VW Beetle macro-sculpture exists in fact in England in Stratford-upon-Avon, also known as the place of birth of Shakespeare. See more details in the text below.

Ontem, quando eu limpei a minha sala, encontrei outro motivo para fazer parte de sua pesquisa. Trata-se da foto acima que eu encontrei na revista mensal alem� "MAX", edi��o de setembro de 1996. O texto da foto diz o seguinte:

CULTO AO FUSCA

Isto n�o � um truque novo de pessoas que notoriamente costumam ofender as regras de estacionamento, � na verdade uma obra de arte. Vinte e dois Fuscas e Kombis velhos foram reunidos para formar a escultura chamada "Dub-Henge" (Fusca-Henge) que foi composta na cidade inglesa de Stratford-upon-Avon. Este monstro de lata � a resposta de Stratford para "Stonehenge", o maior minumento pr�-hist�rico da Europa, situado em Salisbury no sul da Inglaterra. S�o muito conhecidas as legend�rias celebra��es de cerim�nias do solst�cio, levadas a efeito todos os anos. Estas celebra��es atraem, para as pedras que tem at� 20 metros de altura, principalmente jovens e pessoas interessadas por esoterismo. Agora, com o "Dub-Henge", Stratford possui o seu pr�prio cen�rio para a��es ritual�sticas. A quest�o � saber se um dr�ida ficaria impressionado/cativado por este cen�rio.

Yesterday, when I cleaned my living room, I found another reason of taking part in your quest. It's a photo, please refer above, I found in German monthly magazine 'MAX' in September 1996. In the text next to the photo it says:.

BEETLE CULT

This isn't a new trick for notorious parking offenders but a work of art. 22 old beetles and VW-buses had to be taken for the sculpture 'Dub Henge' that was set up in British Stratford-upon-Avon. This tin-monster is Stratfords answer to 'Stonehenge', Europes biggest prehistoric monument located near Salisbury in southern England. Well known are the legendary solstice celebrations held there every year that attract mainly young and esoteric interested people to the stones that are up to 20m high. With 'Dub Henge' Stratford now has its own setting for ritual actions. The question is, whether a druid would be impressed by this.
