Give your jeep some pipes!

  • Headers go right along with your aftermarket exhaust system. This is a set of very low-restrictive pipes which alough a fast and effecient passage way of your exhaust gases to travel. These pipes bolt to your engines "HEAD" and a confident mechanic will still take most of a working day to install them. If you have either the 5.2 or 5.9 V-8 engines you must purchase a set of two headers, as your exhaust gases are expelled from both sides of your engine. I would only recommend headers if you want to get top performance out of your engine. I have found that this product has the widest price range of them all. For the V-8 boys, depending if you want chrome-vandium(cheapest), coated black, or the expensive alumni-coated headers, which don't rust and have a powder coating and also reduces underhood heat, the prices are as follows:

$450.00-$600.00 for chrome"better known as rust to be"

$500.00-$650.00 for black"which are better but will still rust

    GULP!$750.00-$1000.00 for alumni-coat(powder coated)"for the good stuff"

The 4.0 six is much more reasonable in price:

    $325.00-$450.00 for black and chrome

$500.00-$675.00 for the powder coated header(normally white)
