8/15/97 - Purchased Typhoon #1952 for $17,000 with 33K miles
12/3/97 - Slid off the road and hit a stopsign ~ $2000 damage
12/27/97 - Got the Ty back from the body shop and put it in storage for the winter
2/98 - Purchased ATR IC and Putbull chip
4/98 - Removed Ty from storage, started driving it again
4/15/98 - While dropping of my taxes at the postoffice tranny wouldn't shift out of 1'st, I pushed
it too hard and tranny let go, broke the rear planetary gear assy.
5/98 - 7/98 Ordered all tranny parts, billet 1-2 servo, upgraded sprag, alto 9 disc 3-4 clutch pack,
TCS 9/11" converter, hardned stator shaft, accumulator block modification, HD rear planetary.
8/22/98 - Finished my first tranny rebuild and tested it, shifts AWESOME, works great.
Following weekend - went to the track for the first time- 15.0 @ 88 mph :(
Weekend after that - went to track, had replaced cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and sawed off the exhaust
after the muffler cause it was all kinked up; ran a best time of 14.059 @ 93.5
10/98 - Motor's running bad, blowing oil, no power, hard to crank....she's dead Jim.
10/15/98 - Removed the motor/tranny and put Ty into storage for winter
12/98 - 5/99 Purchased lots of parts and completly rebuilt motor:
