In 1985, engineers at Lamborghini started working on a new kind of Lamborghini car.  This
car had to be better quality, faster, and safer than the Countach. They called this amazing 
machine the Diablo.  The first Diablo was manufactured in 1991 and is still made today.
The diablo used a completely different engine than the Countach. The V12 engine was 
capable of 485 Horsepower at 7000 RPMs.  It made the Diablo the most powerful 
production car on the road.  Many parts of the Diablo were made out of a lighter,
yet stronger composite-material.  The Diablo had five different models: The 
Original Diablo, The Diablo VT, The Diablo SE-30, The Diablo Roadster, and the
SV.  Lamborghini had succeeded in creating a successor to the Countach.
