McCormick W6

This is my W6. It is a 1950 model. This tractor was in pretty sad shape
when we picked it up. The engine would not spin over, and the body was
rough. We brought it home and put it in the shed. It was winter when we
picked it up so I had the heater blowing around it. After a while, I decided
to get kind of rough with it. I grabbed on to the crank and almost fell on my
butt. I could spin it with one hand, easily. The next day I came out to work
again. This time I could not spin it again. I put the heater on it again and
drained it again. The oil pan was completely full of water. I pulled the
tractor apart, and overhauled the engine. When I overhauled the engine,
I put the oversize kit in it and some other tweaking as well. I got the tractor
back together the night before the parade that the tractor is in. It had about
a half hour on the engine before the parade. Now the tractor is putting about 55hp
out. It is a good pulling tractor.
