A Typical Summer Wednesday Evening at
"The Waterman"
The Waterman really is a big meet, on a sunny Wednesday the place is full of bikes, even filling the overspill bike park that is infact the field below the pub. Good places to sit are either on the wall at the front of the pub, where you can watch the bikes arrive. Or on the balcony at the back of the pub (My favorite spot) where you can sit and watch the world go by.
There has been that many attending the Waterman recently that this year an overspill pub about a mile up the road (Towards Birmingham) has become a bike meet in itself. The Falcon is a bit more relaxed, you can actually get to the bar without a 1/2 hour wait, and parking is not as much of a problem .
