A Sunday Afternoon at
Waterside, Stratford upon Avon

Recently Waterside has been the centre of an argument with the town council, some of whom wanted to stop bikes parking on the pavement, and force them to park in a multistory car park!!! But after a protest last year where bikes parked around the town centre taking up a car space per bike, and the ensueing chaos that caused, the council have backed down. The police can be in attendance, but only to ensure that bikes are not ridden along the pavement (ride it with your feet down and you're OK)
In the floods at Easter, Waterside was under about a foot of water. it was a strange experience standing where you regularly park your bike and being almost up to your knees on water!!!!!
