For those of you who are unfamiliar, this is a 1977 Holden LX Torana Hatchback.

Those readers from Australia will recognise it a as one of two things:

Toranas have a chequered history starting life in about 1966 as a Vauxhall Viva (yuck) to the 1977 A9X 5litre V8 (I want one of these!). One interesting point is that the body style of my car could have been bought with a few engine choices including 1900cc 4 cylinder, 2850cc 6 cylinder, 3300cc 6 cylinder, 4200cc 8 cylinder or 5000cc 8 cylinder.

Such a range must be a claim to fame in itself.

While waiting for the Westfield to arrive I busied myself by painting the car, just a couple of shots during the process.
