While waiting for Dale Earnhardt to come out of his Coach before the Brickyard something funny happened! His police escort locked his keys in the trunk!! And boy were the comments flying. Here are the pics of the event. The police man was MATTHEW E. Hall from the Hendricks Co. Department. After several minutes of trying to figure out how they were going to get into the car the police men ended up using a slim jim to get the door open to pop the trunk and find the keys.
This is when they realized the keys were missing and there was no way into the car!!
This is them using the slim jim to open the door.....make sure you don't have a police officer steal a car for you because it took them several minutes to figure out how to do it!!
And this this the end result! Matthew E. Hall is the one standing there smiling. Didn't think it was so funny at first but he smiled anyways and everyone cheered them on!!
