How I spent my summer vacation?

Well it was summer, I spent a fair amount of time doing landscaping on the (new) house. I built a deck too. After that I said it's time for the truck. I've managed to put new mounts on the engine and trans. Cleaned and painted the frame. Removed some leafs from the rear springs, and added two-inch drop "Y" hangers. Found a really nice gas tank conversion. A Isuzu trooper donated it's tank and I had the vaporlines and stuff removed, and the filler relocated. It tucked between the frame rails like it was meant to be.I have the body work done on the cab, reworked the dash a little (not done yet), and I'm now working on fitting some bucket seats and a console into it. I added a Toyota 4x4 power steering box kit from mid-fifties)and a GM tilt column I picked up at a swap meet. When I got the cab back on the frame it was a good feeling. I am making progress! It can get discouraging when your truck is spread all over the garage and basement floors.
