This is me and my step-brother Mike on my homemade
buggy. We don't know exactly what to call it so if you have any ideas
send them to me.
My cousin Danny and I started this project in
April 1998. I had just finished building the engine in my '79 F-250
and needed something else to work on so we opted for the ultimite chalange;
build a vehicle from scratch. I just happened to have a Toyota T2
hemi 4 cylender lying around and decided to use that as the powerplant.
The engine was all that we had and the rest revolved around that.
We found a Jeep frame at a local junk yard. We don't know much about
the frame (no ID tag) but we think that it was converted to a 2WD setup,
because the front axle is from a fork lift. We started by mounting
the engine on the frame. Slowly we took parts off of my uncles junked
Pontiac Bonnaville and junked Chevy Capre Classic. Many of my friends
had parts lying around that they donated to my project. The whole
thing cost me about $140.
Thanks
