Mosses Lake is in the eastern part of Washington state. Just outside of town is a 3,000 acre ORV park. The terrain is rolling sand dunes. Average height is 20 to 30 feet, largest is about 50 feet. The best time to ride is in the Fall when there is a little moisture in the sand, the traction is much better. In the summer months the temperature is in the nineties, so the Fall is better comfort wise also. Four or five of us started going over every October, and it has become a regular event for the last six years. The Holloween Ride.
