SrA. Creel's Air Force career

In December of 1993, I joined the Air Force. I was first in basic training for 6 weeks in San Antonio Texas. I then went to Technical School for 3 months in Witchita Falls, Texas. I then moved to Kunsan airbase Korea where I was an assistant crew chief on 88-405, my first F-16 in the 35th fighter squadron where I recieved an achievement medal. Then, in June of 1995, I moved on to work in the 79th fighter squadron based out of Shaw Air Force base in Sumter, South Carolina. I was a crew chief on 91-360, 91-368, 92-921, 90-463 and 94-4047 which are all F-16's. While I was stationed there, I was involved in the 1996 terrorist bombing of Khobar towers where I recieved a purple heart, an achievement medal, an outstanding unit award, and a southwest asia merritorious service medal. I then moved to Osan airbase Korea in April of 1998, where I work Transient Alert for the 51st Fighter Wing. In April of 1999, I will be moving to the 63rd Fighter squadron at Luke Air Force base in Arizona.
