SSGT PAUL C. BOLIOU
First of all, I am an F-16 Fighting Falcon Crew Chief. I have been in our nations Air Force for almost six years. My first assignment was Edwards Air Force base in California. I spent three wonderful years there meeting my wife and having my first child.

In the time that I was stationed at Eddy's Airplane Patch, I crewed three F-16's in the 412th Test Squadron and assisted in the testing of various upgrades to aircraft systems and frames. I was involved with the MLU (Mid Life Update) program and other important tests still running there. I have always had a passion for aircraft and I firmly believe that the flightline is where I belong. I was there when retired general Chuck Yeager flew his historic fiftieth anniversary of super sonic flight recreation.
In August of 1998 I PCS'd to Osan airbase, Republic of South Korea. I was assigned to 51MXS Transient Alert/Crash and Recovery. I gained valuable knowledge on many other airframes than just the F-16 and saw all sorts of aircraft varying from A-37 Dragonflies to C-5 Galaxy's while I was there. I enjoyed my job there and came home with a valuable experiance. To me there is no other job as rewarding as mine.
I returned to Edwards AFB in August of 1999 and have been here since. I have crewed two more F-16's since being back and am currently Assistant Phase Dock Chief for the 412th Test Squadron.
