That's where the ON TRACK racing program comes in. Silva Racing Enterprises is making a commitment to today's youth. Children today need to have a positive influence in their lives. That's why Silva Racing Enterprises has formed ON TRACK racing. A program developed for the benefit of children.
ON TRACK is a program directed at giving the youth within our community an option other than life on the streets. ON TRACK will offer them the opportunity to become part of a local race team and compete at Langley Speedway. The program will stress the advantages of a drug free life along with continued education. We will encourage them to use racing as an example of how math and other sciences are important, even in recreation. And how teamwork is a vital part of today's world. This program is being modeled after a very successful program called Inner City Youth Racing (www.icyracing.com) which is recognized by organizations such as the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Unfortunately, the sport of racing is not cheap. Quaker State, Saturn, MAC Tools, and others sponsor the ICY Racing program. ON TRACK is looking to the Hampton Roads Business Community to help sponsor our endeavor. While we are committed to making the ON TRACK racing program a success, we are equally committed to keeping our sponsors in the public view and in a positive light. For your benefit, in addition to the obvious exposure of your logo racing around Langley Speedway, we have many other events planned to promote your business. We will be taking the car to local schools to spread our message of living drug free and applying math and science in daily activities. We plan to have the car at all the major Hampton Roads Festivals; Harborfest, The Seawall Festival, Bay Days, The Blue Angels, etc. We will even set up appointments to bring the car to locations of your choice. It's a great way to get customers to stop at your front door.
Sponsorship packages can be tailored to fit any budget. From as little as providing our kids with weekly admission to the track, to as much as major sponsorship packages, any amount will be recognized via advertising on the race car.
