Dave's 1979 Trans Am
This was my first Trans Am. Bought in April of 1979 and sold in 1999 after 215,000 miles on the odometer. It still ran perfect after all those miles. I bought the car in April of 1979, The car was WS7 model. The WS7 package consisted 8 inch instead of 7 inch snowflake wheels, larger sway bars and stiffer shocks than a regular Trans Am. There was a WS6 package also that included 4 wheel disc brakes as well. This car had red velour interior, A/C, all power options, 185 hp, 403 cid 6.6 litre Oldsmobile produced engine, Automatic 3 speed transmission and came with a cassette AM/FM stereo.
