Silver State Classic Challenge (SSCC)
event included 102 entries, three of whom
are Team Pantera Racing members, all
driving vintage De Tomaso Panteras. Mike Anderson from
Elkhart, Indiana, driving his '72
Pantera, finished second in the Grand
Touring Division, "120 Class"
with a 120.1152 mph average.
Bob Wood from
Newport Beach, California, driving his
'73 Pantera GTS, finished the event in
the Grand Sport Division, "135
Class" with a 134.9983 mph average.
Unfortunately, due to a violation of low
trap speed, Bob was disqualified.
D J Antenucci
from Huntington Beach, California,
driving his '72 Pantera, finished third
in the Grand Sport Division, "145
Class" with a 142.0660 mph average
and finished 10th overall in the event.
