| The Silver State
Classic Challenge Open Road Race included 214
participants, 180 of whom completed the event.
Ten (10) of the drivers entered in the event are
members of Team Pantera Racing. All of the ten TPR cars that
competed in this event, completed the race. Team
Panter Racing is still the only team to start and
finish ten. No other team has started and
finished all its team cars in both the Silver
State and Nevada Open Road races.
In the September 1999
event, TPR had one First Place finish. In the
Grand Touring Division (135 MPH Class), Michael
Anderson completed the event with a 134.9893 MPH
average. Michael had a -o.010 time variance from
his target speed/time.
