PhaseIV

This is the next part of the car that I wanted to spend some time on.

(As you can see there is a substantial amount of paint, surface rust, and undercoating that must all be removed)

Here, everything is partly stripped. The A pillar, the cowl and the fender well. I'm just having a hard time focusing on one spot. I find the stripping will go faster if I apply on one area, then strip the previous area, keeping the work moving back and forth.

Here I have completely stripped the A pillar, and it's ready for a shot of primer

Here's yet another picture of the A-pillar stripped and the drip rail stripped and primed

This is a picture after I stripped the 'weather strip' rail, and shot it with a coat of primer.

(I'm using a heavy duty chemical stripper, which requires water to neutralize the chemical after all the paint has been removed)

This is the inner fender partly stripped and partly primed.

Here's the result of stripping/ prepping/ and priming the inner fender.

Here's a shot of the cowl partly stripped.
(I'm using the 3M stripping attachment that is doing a good job at getting some of the more stubborn media off)

Here I'm starting the engine lid.

Here's the lid a little later...
