In Istanbul, we are about 60-70 Goldwings which everbody almost know each others and there are another
20-30 Goldwings at the other cities of the coountry.
It means that we are totally about 100 Goldwings in the whole country.
If you compare this quantity with our population which is about 65 million, you will see that we are very very small community.
In early June 1997, we arranged a short one day trip to out of Istanbul but we could collect only 8 Goldwings. (Two of them were foreigners who live in Turkey)
People in Turkey mostly prefer racing, cruiser and enduro types !? Especially racing bikers have big groups and they are always fast !
Some of our friends who really like touring, started to think that Goldwing is the best motor for long trips and they really intend to change their current bikes with Goldwings.
