welcome to the project start pictures!

there will be other pages eventually. I plan to catalog the evolution of the BOSS mustangs, from the original concept of the BOSS302 to the BOSS429 and to include the one of a kind Larry Shinoda BOSS428, including a pic out of Mustang and Fast Fords on the car. there will also be a section for other fords--galaxies, fairlanes, torinos, thunderbirds, rancheros, even some pretty hot wagons. if you have a pic that is scanned, or would like it scanned mail me and i'll post it to my site along with an explanation telling who owns it and the specs! for those that have pics of they're fords but lack scanning capabilities, kinkos offers a reasonably priced scanning service, or if you have copies of the pics you can mail them to me via snail mail and i can scan them onto the page for you, mail me and we can work out arrangements

ok on to the pics of the car!

ok here is the first pic of the car. almost all in one piece minus the engine which i hoisted out for rebuilding. it was not originally red, according to the vin code it was originally lime green with ivy green standard packaged interior.--ya I had the same thought--eck! i think when the restoration is complete I will probably stay with red or maybe a metallic blue shade.

second of the two pictures. It shows a little more of what got taken off--basically i stripped it down to the frame in the front, leaving the body section on the car and the trunk and the rest intact, i'm saving them for later modifications. as of 4/4/99 i have replaced the control arms and steering rods. I used the original equipment repacement parts until i can find a way to retrofit the boss suspension onto the current frame being as how she aint a boss there is alot that will have to be modified, i am still looking for a steering column and steeering wheel combo to slap in there along with a vaccuum booster canister to swap her over to power brakes prior to reassembly.

this one is a pic of the hood compartment after i took out the engine...if you'll notice the tranny sis still in the car, but just for those of you car buffs that are interested--the driveline was disconnected prior to all work on the car. OH yeah...ignore lthe iced espresso container in there, a man has to get nourishment somewhere

this one is a shot of the interior of the car, which stayed p[retty much in the condition it was in when i found the car, there was no headliner, the carpet was trashed, the seats may be salvageable, but it is doubtful. basically the only thing in the interior of the car worth saving are the shifter console, and the dashpad--which has two(2) tiny holes where apparently they had connected a radar detector at one time or another.....

another shot of the interior, shows more of the work i need to do with her, i dont think much explanation is needed.

here is the last shot of the interior of the car!

here is a photo of the seats after i took them out of the car bsically the springs are ruined and the vinyl has seen its last sunrise so to speak--gonna have to replace them!

here is a shot i hope you can read, its the only bumper sticker that will ever be on the car--one of m fav sayings, and definitly reminds me of my daughter--" MY KID BEAT UP YOUR HONOR STUDENT" to get to a page with a breakdown of the three bosses along with pics(3) of the Ford triple threat i scanned them myself out of a copy of Mustangs and Fords magazine!

also the new page has been started with pics of some other cars that i find interesting, although most of them are sleepers(lots of power but look stock) to get there justclick here
