After Omega update, GM began manufacture and its updated version for the American market under the mark of Cadillac Catera. As well as earlier, Cateras make in Europe and carry in States through Atlantic.
In the USA market Catera compares with Volvo S80, Acura Legend, Mercedes �, Audi A6, BMW 5, Lexus GS300 and top-versions of Tord-Taurus and Chrysler-Sebring.
The architecture of a new Catera's body, as however and new Omega's, essentially has not changed, therefore someone can �������� accept new for old. If will look sideways. Is not clear yet, whether new Catera will have more powerful version with the 5,7-liter motor V8 from Corvette, which already has new Omega V8. It is quite probable, that this motor will put on Catera - all the same machine for the american market, besides its Caddillac.
