Your GTS is really nice. My friend had one when we were in high school. I've always wanted one, but the closest thing I got was a 71 Duster,340 with a 4 speed. I would like to fine a conv. someday. I now have a 86 MonteCarlo SS, all stock and like new, al orig. too. thanks for the neat picture.

Very neat Dart! I have a '69 Swinger 340 B5 blue, white stripe, black bench, 4spd, manual steering and brakes, 34K miles, apparently a Mr. Norm's car that has been raced in C-Stock class (no cuts), original motor and trans, virtually no rust, super nice nterior, orig paint, needs bead blast and repaint. I'll also get engine rebuilt, front end parts, new Centerlines, etc. I'm selling my '85 Porsche 928S to help fund the resto. I'll send you a couple pics. Wonderful car you have -- drive it with pride!

Wow! Awesome resto! I grew up and live in Digby and this town used to be full of Swingers, GT's GTS's, etc. when I was still in high school. Can't find any around here now. Sure wish I bought one when they were plentiful. Currently own a couple of 4 dr. M-bodies. Great cars, but not what I want. Gotta find a 70-71 Duster 340! I'll be watching for you at this year's shows. I plan to attend Blaikie's or sure, and probably Debert.

charlie, great car!!! i have similar car only mine is 4-speed,pdb,323 rear. got mine from a cow pasture, totally striped,windows smashed,roof dented in and rusted badly. luckily the owner kept all drivetrain parts in a shed, even had original exhaust syst m. car is super rough i am in desperate need of your knowledge. please reply

I have a '69 Dart GT which started life as a 273 and now has a 340/727/8 3/4". Body & interior is restored to stock (except for a stripe added by prev. owner. It is a driver--on the street and strip and I am adding performance goodies this winter to make t faster-on the strip. Pictures?

I always liked the Dart/Swinger cars. Never had one myself. Back in the 80's when I lived in Okotoks, Alberta EVERYBODY drove a 340 Swinger. Whether it was a real one or they made one. It was THE car to own back then. I couldn't find one myself that I lik d but am looking real hard at an orange one that my neighbour might sell. Love yours, a real prize!
