| Here is the scarce info I have on the V8Q lang. If anyone can supply additional information email me. No V8 Quattro Langs were officially (or unofficially as far as I know) imported into the USA. Langs were equipped with both the 4.2L and the 3.6L V8 engines, and many an option that was never available on lesser Audi's, including hydraulic suspension, Webasco self contained heaters, exotic woods and hide appointments etc. | |||||||||||
| The lang was a factory built V8 Quattro, the main difference from production V8Q's being the length and wheelbase. Both the lang and the regular V8Q had initial sales in Europe starting in September of 1988. The lang was offered to compete against the behemouths being offered by Mercyless Benz and other rivals at the time. After all, madame couldn't be crowded in the back seat while Jarvis drove her and FiFi to the pet grooming salon. | |||||||||||
| The V8 Quattro has a wheelbase of 270 cm, the lang has a wheelbase of 301 cm. | |||||||||||
| The length of the V8 Quattro is 486 cm, while the lang is a leg stretching 519 cm. | |||||||||||
