1964 Elva Courier Coupe

This is my 1964 Elva Courier Coupe. I liked the lines so I got it. I got in way over my head. I have neither the time or the money to finish this car...if I still have it when I get out of school, maybe I will restore it.

The specs for this unique car are as follows:

ENGINE: None at this moment, needs 1800cc MG.

FRAME: Rusty but solid. The body needs to be removed to sandblast and repaint the frame.

BODY: Typical fiberglass. 8" crack in passenger front fender, damage to passenger rear. Hole cut in hood.

GLASS: I have it all, windshield and rear glass are cracked.

DRIVETRAIN: There is no transmission, and the car is an Independent Rear Suspension Car.

STATS: I spoke with Don Kruzan and he has seen the car. I recieved the following info from him. The car is a 1964 Elva Courier. It is an I.R.S. car from the factory, I may be the fifth owner, Serial number is E1115. There were 210 Elvas built in 1964. 35 coupes overall (1963-1964), 17 in 1964, and 5 with the I.R.S. rear end.

NEW OWNER: Howard Hayes
