The heater outlet hose (on the back of the inlet manifold) has a 90 degree bend and a taper.
Replacing the outlet pipe on the manifold with standard ¹ / ₂ " copper pipe ( left over from that bathroom renovation ) allows you to use standard rubber hosing.
There is a plate containing the outlet pipe, bolted to the back of the manifold, that is easily removed.
Remove the plate, grind off the outlet pipe (it's probably very corroded), and braze a short length of copper pipe to the plate.



Replacing the heater outlet pipe makes finding a hose that fits very easy.
