FIRST DAY HOME FEB. 27, 1996
We bought this car from my wife's brother.
at the time
it didn't run, stop or handle bumps do
to the struts were
dead, the interior was trash to a point
really just needed
cleaning.

FIRST ENGINE
SWEETY WITH 1st ENGINE
On this glorious day of dropping the engine
in to the car and I mean dropping
when putting the engine in we didn't have
the legs extended out enough and the
engine dropped in and I mean it went right
into place bolted and done.
The first engine was stock and straight
out of my 1971 Chevy Cheyenne
pickup. Painted it black for less heat
out put, at lease that's what I was
told, myself it hid a lot of imperfections.
The first time we put the engine in
I had the alternator on the driver side
of the car, meaning that I would have
to route the the wire along the tower strut,
which I made out of a old bed
frame.

1986 CAMARO RADIATOR
This radiator is from a 1986 V8 Camaro
the dimensions are 25 x 19.
The radiator is made of plastic and aluminum,
it is light weight and does
an excellent job of cooling. Myself I decided
to go with the Black Magic
Flex-a-Lite 150 electric fan, which the
electric motor 14 amps and is
rated at 2400 cfm. I have note had any
problems with this set up for cooling
and believe me I have ran this engine hard
in over 100 degree weather , high
speeds and steep slops of canon and passes.

RADIATOR SUPPORT FRONT VIEW RADIATOR
SUPPORT TOP VIEW
The radiator support was made from 2" flat
mild steel and 1"x1" angle.
Bent the flat with a vise and little bertha,
welded the angles and bolted it to the
frame rails.

REPLACED CORNER PANEL (NOT ME) FIRST TIME
STRIPING
LOTS OF BONDO
When we brought the car home the body looked
in good shape. The floor
boards had minimal damage, but when I started
to strip the cracking paint
I found that the driver corner panel was
replaced the door had mass bondo,
both corners were damaged, hidden by bondo.
For who ever that did this body
work the first time did a real nice job
of hiding it.
.
No. 2 ENGINE
My second engine came from 1974 Chev pickup.
4 bolt main, 194 heads
nothing special was done except tanking,
seal, guides and a couple of
valves, don't have the money to go all
out with aluminum heads, all in time.
I'm using a Edelbrock Performer manifold
and Holley 80457. The block is
bored 30 over using Crane Cam 272. Hooker
block huggers 2001 headers.
The engine is not special or a lot of power,
but you don't need much to
this car fly.
1st PROTO COUNSEL
Built by first console with 1/8" plywood
and then cover it with some left over
counter top material. I'll be changing
this.

PRIMER RED AND READY TO GO
This is the place that I tested the car
to see what it could do, This place is
located by Mansfield Washington about 175
miles northeast of Seattle.
This is the day of finding out what it would
do.
With this car you don't have to power brake
to get the tires spining, even with
the tires smoking and spinning the car
is still a wild ride. The car went straight
as an arrow shifting at 5000 rpm and braking
the tires loose in all three gears,
I'm using a turbo 350 trany with a B&M
MegaShifter part no. 80690, myself
I like this shifter I was able to locate
it in the counsel were it best fit me. The
dollar test works great in this car or
what ever bill you can afford. What you do
is put the bill on the dash and tell the
person in the passenger seat to try and
grab it, then at the same time punch the
gas and watch the heads fly back.
As you can tell this Stage is Done!! V8 and runs Great
