1 Wimberly Trade Days (Roger and Jan Porch)
The club will gather at 8:00am at Threadgils (where we have club meetings)in Austin. We'll head to Wimberly as a group (Out 290 West to RR12. South into
town, Left after we get into town and cross the square) and park on the grounds of Hill Country
Motorsports. Glenn Garret has kindly offered us use of the fenced parking area
there for our MG's. The trip will be less than an hours drive. Jan will shuttle us to the shopping area where many
restaurants are available and we can shop till we drop. Then it's off to Roger
and Jan's home for a refreshing dip in the pool before heading back. The Alamo
MG club is also planning to attend and this promises to be a fun time for all.

July
3 - 7 NAMGBR Convention in Grapevine (Alan and Deborah Ferretti)
This is the national convention of the NAMGBR. Grapevine is located just outside Dallas. Lots of fun activities planned. See the web site. Car Show is Saturday. Early(as in cheap) registration ends June 1st. Come up for the holiday and party all week or join us for the car show Saturday. Also a good chance to join the national organization. August 23-25 Big Bands and Cool Cars in Kerville (Alan and Deborah Ferretti)
2nd Annual Big Bands & Cool Cars runs from
Friday to Sunday, event times vary. Nostalgia in the Hill Country. Popular dance bands, dance on Friday night, motorcade on Saturday morning, collector's car 50 mile tour of the Hill Country. Auto show, big band music, concert and ice cream social. Special packets for two include the dances, accommodations and reserved seats at event. 830.257.3600 for reservations, ask for Rod Kennedy. September 28-29 Texas All British Car Day weekend in Round Rock (Mark Barrington + Team)
This is the BIG one. Texas ABCD starts off with pre-registration at the host hotel and a Rally on Saturday and the big car show on Sunday. This year promises to be the best yet.
