Like
the 5-Series, this BMW flagship was totally redone in 1995. This
is currently the third generation 7-Series since it's US introduction in
1986. When you fork over $60,000 to $90,000 for this car, you get
to pick your engine: a V8 or a V12. Talk about choices! However,
when you spend that money, you get every single amenity that you could
EVER think of, and then some. There are currently three cars in the
7-Series, the 740iA, 740iL, and 750iL. The 750 is pictured below.
The most popular color of these cars is the regular silver, but I prefer
the dark blue (not pictured). All information is given for a 740iL
with a V8 engine. When you go for the cheap 7 car, you end up with
a tiny 5-Series engine. Those among us interested in a real engine
need to dig deeper into our pockets for the extra $20,000. Too bad.
Suggested alternatives for the 7-Series include the Mercedes-Benz
S-Class, and the Audi A8.
One
little comment: Has anyone noticed how Jaguar, Audi, BMW, Mercedes,
and most luxury car makers name their cars with incomprehendable combinations
of numbers and letters? I think I know why education in this country
is declining: If car companies can't take the time to use whole words,
why should we expect our children to? Just a thought.
