what drove me to this insanity

honest, it's not my fault. I couldn't help myself. I saw these cars and something snapped. I couldnt stop....

I first got hooked on the fenderless bug hotrod when I saw 'Volksenstein" in April '91 Dune Buggies & Hot VW's. It was built out of a $50 junker and gave the best of both worlds, VW's and street Rodding

First there was the "Rodbuster" but when Brian Langley first showed up at Litchfield with his "Capecodster".....ngah, ngah, ngah

Then in November of '96 Paul Barrow presented this unreal concept in VolksWorld.

I'm also very impressed with the "piranha" kit car. I've gotten some ideas from that. I especially love the wild street rod front suspension, but I want it all in metal, not plastic!
