I just purchased a 1974 BMW 3.0s , that is in good condition that I found in the TOO HARD basket of a local businessman. I have got it registered in one week , but now the real works starts! I dont even know if I am nameing the model in the correct way. A d I need service info REAL BAD! It is a 6cyl/auto has two 2barrel Zenith downdrafts that I have the local AutoPro looking for carbykits. Runs great but idle is poor even after i replaced the tacho fuse (That helped!) Is there a icq or something where Bmw eads collect? Fine web page, did you do it yourself?

For my sins I have a 735i.Given its age it is a remarkably up to date car. What I have a problem with is tech information, no manuals seem to exist and I am not sure what models share specs. Major components seem ok but idiot areas like accessing console, vaccum system for vents etc are needed. Can you advise where one might find same?
