I bought my 1999 Navy Blue Metallic Firebird new on 11/10/98 at the local Pontiac dealership. It has the 3800 Series II V6 engine that is rated at 200hp. Factory options include the larger size tires P235/55R16, power windows, power door locks, power antenna, dual power mirrors, and automatic transmission. Modifications include the Whisper Induction Lid, K&N Air Filter, the New SLP Underhood Cold Air Package, Dynomax Super Turbo Dual Outlet Muffler (#17739) with 2 1/4 inch aluminized tailpipes, 1993-97 Chrome Plated Trans Am Dual Exhaust Tips (GM# 10243346), Random Technology High Flow Catalytic Converter, Mobil One 10-30W Synthetic Oil, and Tinted Windows.

Even though it is a daily driver, I have entered it in numerous car shows. The first show was the 1999 Spring Spectacular at the Daytona 500 International Speedway. The picture below was taken on Daytona's backstretch (oops! It was renamed the "Superstretch" and have to be politically correct!). I was hoping Dale Jarrett or Jeff Gordon would drive by, but no such luck!
