This wicked little 2-stroker has given me plenty of fun times, this bike will take any other bike for at least two gears ( but you can say bye-bye as soon as those big four's hit third ). Did you know that the engine in this bike is the same engine they use in the Banshee, the only real quad out there worthy of a race name. The only difference really is that the Banshee doesn't have the YPVS ( Yamaha Power Valve System ), it's an earlier version of the EXUP now used on the YZF-R1 and Thunderace. Considering the year this bike is in really good shape, I was in William's Lake last year and we saw a RZ that looked exactly the same, until you got close that thing had more fiberglass on it than a funny car.

I've never crashed or dropped this bike but my Dad dropped it on me. We were cleaning it one day and you would normally leave the wheel pointed towards whatever way it's leaning, but to get at the front fender or something he decided it would be easier if he turned it outwards that was fine but he never turned it back, so about 15 minutes later ( with me on the other side kneeling ) a gust of wind comes along and all asudden the bike is veering down upon me ( it's a heavy bike when it's on top of you ). But I merely shouted "Get back here!", and everything was ok, other than my back....ouch.

I 've sold it though. Sold it In August 98 to Bowness Cycle for $1800.00... then two weeks later when I was returning a tire I bought, seeing as how they put on the wrong size, I asked about it allready being sold and found out that it left and came back all in one day.. the motor blew up. OOps! Shit, they probably sold it for $3000 anyways.
