Queensland Hot Rod Street Machine Spectacular
Brisbane, Queensland - April 1997

Australian Street Rod Federation - Street Rodder News Issue No. 10 - July 1997

The 1997 Qld State Title Show was a big success, with 210 entries, over 30 traders on site, and around 30,000 people through the gates. The combination of a wide variety of entries, big crowds, regular Harley Davidson fashion parades music, all added to create the right atmosphere for the Show.

The floor plan for the Show was altered this year to allow more displays to be put in place. Wherever you looked there were top quality hot rods and street machines, enough variety to satisfy all tastes. Once again, congratulations to Qld Hot Rod Promotions for putting on a top Show, and the ASRF Judges Stewards who did a very professional job.

(1) Rampage Rodware was the major of the Show this year.Their trade stand was
very well presented, and had lots of goodies on display, and for sale.
(2) This photo tells it all. The crowds just kept on pouring in. 30,000+over the 4 days.
