The ASRF mounts promotional displays at events around the country throughout the year. The ASRF stand (pictured) was at the inaugural Performance Racing Trade Show, and featured Jim Haworth's blown 'A' coupe. The trade show was staged at the Southbank Convention Centre, Brisbane, and was well received. A great deal of interest was created, with a positive spin off from participating traders looking to be involved with the ASRF at the 2000 Cleveland Regional Nationals. We recommend any person in the automotive trade to make sure they attend the '99 Trade Show-it's brilliant.
The ASRF stand was typical of what ASRF member's who volunteer to help with promotion can do with minimal resources. Many thanks to those who gave up their time to set up the promo stand, and man it for the three day trade show. Also, thanks go to John Moyle, the promoter of the Show for donating the site for the ASRF's use.
