Issue No. 14 July 1998
Ken & Pam originally purchased the '32 from Bob Cain of Penrith, NSW, as a project. Bob had it to the stage where it was running, with the top chopped. When Ken and Pam took delivery in Tassie, they had it stripped and steeled out, prepared, painted and assembled by Graeme Mannering (Rods & Classics/Hobart) and Larry Hills, with some help and lots of encouragement from Ken. Build time for the fordor was 3 years, with completion at Easter,1996.
The '32 doesn't sit idle, and has traveled across the water to the "Big Island" for Bendigo Swap Meet, Melbourne Hot Rod Show and the ASRF '97 Nats, plus being driven to numerous Tasmanian events.
