Winter Warm Up Run 1997
For the 10th year in a row the Early Ford Club of Tasmania held its June long week-end Run at Bicheno, on Tasmania's east coast.
It was the largest event held in Tasmania for some time, with rodders and families travelling to Bicheno from all over the State, in all over 100 people were in attendance.
On Sunday everyone took part in a car trial and scavenger hunt, finishing up 30 miles away in Scamander for lunch. Sunday night was the annual State Council auction, which raises money to help run club events during the year. The highlight of the auction, as usual, was the mirror made by Andrew Morris, a special momento of the event.
Monday morning everyone lined up for a photo session and trophy presentation, before heading home. Ladies Choice was Phil Robinson's '34 Chev Roadster, and Men's Choice was Don Langdon's '33 Ford Coupe.
