Family Participation

The future and History of the ASRF

Our sport is not only catering for the people who wish to build the fad T Bucket or Roadster, but it is also a tremendous family outlet. Here is a sport in wish the whole family can proudly participate. Why not build an early sedan; let the family decide on the colour scheme for the body and interior trim; the children can help with the general overall project - supervised by Dad. Hang a towbar on the back, hook up the van and head off to a rod run, a camp out, a show or attend the next Street Rod Nationals.

It is with pride that Federation members can look to the future. We have professional administrators; we care about rodders and our rods; and continue to promote our sport to attract new members We believe interest in rodding is extremely rewarding and the challenge of building your own rod nurtures a sense of pride, both for the individual and the whole family.
