Thanks alot for all the car movie trivia, I have rented some of the movies you mentioned just to see some of the cars. I have a '66 Chevelle "SS" Malibu Convertable (Canadian car) this car came with a 327/300 horsepower motor it was made in Oshawa, Ontario (I've had it for 27 Yrs.). It was in a Busch (div. of Budwiser) Beer t.v. Commercial, it's white with a black top (vette rims), I think the commercial was aired on some sports satellite channel. I've been trying to find it eversince (1999) but to no avail. I also have another car which was featured in a made for t.v. movie "Year of the Phoenix" (1999). The movie car company has been no help at all finding this movie either. They said sometimes the titles of movies are changed kind of last minute. I know that my Black with t-roofs/1997 Camaro "SS" was a featured car in this action movie, I think there were Asian actors in it, it was filmed in Toronto, Canada. If there is any information that you can tell me on how to find these two items it would be very appreciated. Thanks again for your interesting facts on Chevelles.

I still watch Hawaii Five-O on KDOC 56 of Orange county California. Brings back great memories. They don't make them this good anymore. Too many agendas I guess. Some cop shows should have as much class and great scenary and talent as "Five-O" had. It's a
felony they don't. So as Mcgarrett says "Book 'em Danno". Jack Lord and the cast were and are still great. V.C.

I've always been a BIG Hawaii Five-0 fan. I watched the show when it was new (Sunday nights at 9) But I was always facinated by that '68 Park Lane Brougham 4 dr. hdtp. I think that was one of the best looking 4 dr cars I've ever seen. I'm happy to see it
looks like the car has been found and restored. I sure would like to see it some time. I'm sure the pictures dont do it justice. I enjoy watching the re-runs on Wgn via satellite. Mc Garrett lives forever!! (and so does his Park Lane) THANKS!!!

Liked your website, but thought you would have more photos of the Chevelle Malibu. My first car was a used 69 Malibu. Loved that car! 213,000 miles and 3 engines later, the transmission died, and because of the rust over the gas tank, we SADLY retired
er to the auto salvage company.
With your interest in GM cars used in TV and movies, very surprised not to find series "Stingray" listed...('65 Corvette Stingray).

I enjoyed this show and I'm able to say I watched the first Five-0 show which aired in 1968. Watching McGarrett drive around in those famous black Mercurys, his style, and the shows music was why I watched the show weekly. Shows and cars like this are a
thing of the past and I was glad to be a part of that time. May Jack Lord rest in peace.

Yes, JL as Felix in the early 007 years--I had forgotten that. Remember Doug McClure in the film predecessor of THE WALTONS starring Henry Fonda--name of the film? I forget. Also, DMcCl was one of the Jets in WEST SIDE STORY. Ridiculous film!! Looks grea
on stage--dumb on film!! Strange time difference--previous entry has it several hours ahead. Located where?

Nice pic of the 68 Merc www.mjq.net/fiveo/50mercury.htm has a picture of McGarret's car, the 1968 Mercury.
I watched Five-0 in the glory days of the late 60s. Jeff from DUMB AND DUMBER had an early acting gig for the last episode. I previously thought it was Woody Harrelson. But the newsgroup talk indicated otherwise. Jack Lord also appeared in the Williamsbur
, VA, film shown to tourists as a colonial individual whose family visits the place in the 18th century. I saw the film during a visit there in 1970.

I was always a big Five-O fan and now that I`m finally online I`m getting a real charge out of all I`m finding. Guess I`m not the only one who appreciated a good "Book `em Danno". I do, however, think in all fairness McGarrett could have thrown in at leas
one "Nail `em Chin" somewhere along the way.
