113,343 (11/10/97): Dist. cap, Ignition Rotor, Oil + filter, New Plugs, Fuel Filter, Air Filter, Diff Oil, New fuses, New crankcase vent hose, Dealer checked fuel injection system (normal operation). DeSimone BMW - performed by previous owner.
114,890 (8/11/98): New Roundels (just got the car).
114,990 (10/23/98): Oil + Oil Filter (car has been stored/sitting/driven rarely).
115,000 (10/29/98): New 15" 20 spoke wheels and tires
116,000 (12/09/98): Fuel Pressure Regulator (tried to solve my hesitation problem).
116,358 (12/29/98): Alignment performed
117,435 (2/13/99): Fan Belts, Oil + filter, Coolant flush, Water Pump, Spark Plugs (regapped to .032, not spec .028 to improve idle), New style oil spray bar bolts, air filter, fuel filter.
119,300 (4/10/99): New Pagid pads (front & rear), New E28 535i Power ATE Gas Slotted Front disks, new E28 rear disks, brake flush with ATE Super Blue.
119,982 (5/21/99): New starter.
120,000 Mile Mark passed on May 23, 1999!
120,450 (6/5/99): New left-rear window regulator. The window seals and motor itself won't live to see 150k though.
120,796 (6/12/99): Oil and Oil filter. "Summer" Mobil 1 synthetic.
121,750 (8/14/99): Upper control arms, bushings, and ball joints. Steering bolt upgrade.
122,700 (9/24/99): New Boysen (OE BMW) Muffler (thank you Rob A.!!!), mounted with Steve D's stainless bolts. New Trunk Gasket. Dash lights (OBC and light switch lights).
124,000 (11/12/99): Valve Adjustment, New guibo & center bearing, new front struts, front sway bar links, front upper strut mounts, new lower control arms & bushings done by MotorWorks West in Wycoff, New Jersey.
125,009 (12/4/99): Fall Maintenance (oil, air, Redline in Diff & Tranny, myraid of checks and little fixes).
127,000 (1/30/00): New uphosltery for front seats, new rear headrests, new factory head unit to be installed.
Work left to have car in 100 point condition: Fix the non-working recirculation vent; New rear subframe bushings, rear diff mount, rear shocks; rear sway links; rear upper strut mounts. I want clutch work done to be 100% sure in my mind and the beefed up replacement driveshafts.
Modifications I want: Ben Liaw Short Shift Kit; Hella's; mud flaps and splash guards; odds and ends.
