10-15-03: I was hoping for better 60 fts but I guess I need to practice launching with drag radials because I did spin a little on two of the runs. Hopefully a longer burnout and trying different tire pressures will help. I did raise the fuel pressure about 2 psi before my 3rd run, it seems to have helped but I'm not sure. I had to leave after that run because a rocker came loose again. I shifted at about 5500 RPMs on all runs and will experiment with different shift points the next time out. Runs #1, 2 and 4 were ran on this day.
10-25-03: With the stock stall converter it doesn't look like my 60fts are going to get much better. The track wasn't in the best condition but I didn't really have any traction problems. I ran a personal best but only by .03 seconds. I left the FP up from the last time and shifted at 5600-5700 RPMs. The weather was the same as it was on 10-15. Runs #3, 5 & 6 were ran today.
